...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 345 AM CDT FRIDAY...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...A portion of southeast Texas, including the following
  counties, Brazos, Burleson, Grimes, Madison, Montgomery, San
  Jacinto and Walker.

* WHEN...Until 345 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
  and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads
  remain closed due to flooding.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1025 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the warned area. Between 3 and 5 inches of rain
    have fallen.
  - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is
    expected.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    College Station, Bryan, Huntsville, New Waverly, Snook,
    Bedias, Kurten, Wixon Valley, Millican, Kyle Field,
    Huntsville State Park, Iola, Roans Prairie, Carlos, Crabbs
    Prairie, Wellborn and Oakhurst.

...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Texas...

  Trinity River near Crockett affecting Madison, Trinity, Walker
  and Houston Counties.

For the Trinity River...including Crockett, Riverside, Romayor,
Goodrich, Liberty, Moss Bluff...Major flooding is forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National
Weather Service when you can do so safely.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Trinity River near Crockett.

* WHEN...Until Sunday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 41.0 feet, Minor lowland flooding begins in the
  vicinity of the gage creating problems for cattle ranches and
  prison farms. Livestock may need to be removed from low areas in
  the flood plain.
  At 43.0 feet, Minor lowland flooding continues in the vicinity of
  the gage impacting ranching operations and prison farms. Livestock
  should be removed from low areas in the flood plain.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:45 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 43.6 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 35.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 7:45 PM CDT Thursday was 45.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    Saturday evening and continue falling to 36.2 feet Tuesday
    evening.
  - Flood stage is 41.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    43.7 feet on 01/30/1999.

  East Fork San Jacinto near New Caney affecting Harris, Montgomery
  and Liberty Counties.

  Navasota River near Normangee affecting Brazos, Madison and
  Grimes Counties.

  Brazos River near Rosharon affecting Fort Bend and Brazoria
  Counties.

For the Menard Creek...including Rye...Moderate flooding is forecast.
For the East Fork San Jacinto River...including New Caney...Moderate
flooding is forecast.
For the Navasota River...including Normangee...Minor flooding is
forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

dangers of flooding.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Navasota River near Normangee.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 17.0 feet, Minor lowland flooding continues with
  widespread inundation of the flood plain in the vicinity of the
  gage with the river more than 1 mile wide. Long Trussel Road in
  northeast Brazos County below State Highway 21 is threatened.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:00 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 16.2 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 12.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 9:00 PM CDT Thursday was 17.8 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall to 15.2 feet Tuesday
    evening.
  - Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    16.2 feet on 12/11/2018.

  escapes the main channel in the vicinity of the gage.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:45 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 13.6 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 16.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 19.0
    feet early Saturday morning.
  - Flood stage is 19.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    19.0 feet on 02/05/1975.
